I Care Adult Home Plus is honored to have Margaret Wambugu as the Chief Administrator. Margaret's journey in nursing has been driven by her deep commitment to providing compassionate and high-quality care to our elderly population, particularly veterans who have given so much to our country. With over four years of experience as a Registered Nurse and a background that includes three years as a Certified Nursing Assistant in nursing homes and veterans' facilities, Margaret brings a wealth of knowledge and a strong desire to enhance the lives of our residents.
Margaret is pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing focusing on Acute Care Nurse Practitioner studies, which will further enable her to advocate for our residents and improve patient outcomes. Margaret's experience in acute care settings, particularly within telemetry and Progressive Care Units (PCU), has equipped her with the skills necessary to lead our team in delivering comprehensive and individualized care plans that meet each resident's unique needs.
Throughout her career, she has taken pride in mentoring new graduate nurses and leading quality improvement initiatives, including successful projects aimed at reducing Central Line-Associated Bloodstream Infections (CLABSI). These experiences have instilled Margaret with the importance of collaboration, continuous learning, and delivering care that prioritizes the dignity and well-being of our residents.
Margaret is dedicated to fostering a supportive and nurturing environment at I Care Adult Home Plus. She believes that I Care Adult Home Plus can create a space where every resident feels respected, cared for, and valued by working collaboratively.
